Freedom and Independence to All Beings

Regular yoga and meditation practice helps us become more aware of our patterns and conditioning by training ourselves to be a casual observer of our own thoughts, emotions and physical sensations. Once we realize that our True Self is separate from, and can be a witness to our emotions, sensations and thoughts, we can begin to break the habit of identifying as these aspects of ourself. Unlearning these unconscious behaviors, through consistent practice of awareness and witnessing, leads to more conscious choices, and ultimately to true freedom and independence. May you and all beings experience freedom and independence on this 4th of July!
